After missing out on in-person 2020 and 2021 NAPIM Conventions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers’ (NAPIM) Annual Convention returns to an in-person event April 8-11, 2022 at The Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club in St. Petersburg, FL.

“We are very enthusiastic about having our first convention since 2019,” John Copeland, NAPIM’s executive director, said. “If our live 2021 Fall Technical Conference was an indicator of our future events, attendees will be very happy to attend the convention.

“This year our convention will be at The Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club. It is a magnificent place for our convention. The resort will be an enjoyable place for our members and guest along with lovely St. Peterburg,” Copeland added.

Copeland said that attendees and exhibitors are enthusiastic about getting together again.

“Nearly everyone I speak with is looking forward to seeing friends and associates at the convention,” added Copeland. “People want to be able to see each other face to face and to network more than ever. Many members are burnt out on virtual calls and meetings. This will be a welcome change.

Copeland said that presenters will be covering a wide range of important topics.

“We have a number of hot topic presentations for the business sessions this year, including sessions on the US economy, internship programing, the promise and perils of accelerating rates of change, regulatory updates, supply chain challenges and solutions and a rocking TAM Breakfast with three of our ink member presidents’ business perspectives,” Copeland said.
 
There will also be a number of events outside of the meetings, including golf tournaments, outside activities, the NAPIM Fun Night, and the Black Tie Ault Award dinner, with the presentation of the prestigious Ault and Pioneer Awards.
